THE CANADA LIVE-IN CAREGIVER PROGRAM

Live-in caregivers are individuals who are qualified to provide
care to children, elderly persons
or persons with disabilities.
Families can hire nannies and home
nursing staff, through the
Canada Live-In Caregiver Program. A live-in caregiver,
nanny,
etc. from a foreign country can provide the homecare only
while
living in the private home of the family. The
Canadian Government
website offers in-depth information on the Program.
Employment
agencies such as Aaron Agency, can facilitate
filling a job vacancy
by referring caregivers who are already in Canada,
either as citizens
or legal immigrants who already hold a work visa.
Local placement
is a speedier process than importing foreign workers from
abroad.
